Lonely Day's

I am away from my shop, visiting with my mom and family for a week. Still taking order's but won't ship out anything until I return home. I just listed some new items and next week I will be working on getting some little finds listed as well. I found a beautiful set of Bakelite salt and pepper shakers at our town swapmeet a couple weeks ago. Tempted to keep them for myself! Me at the swapmeet using my market bag...I have a few of these for sale in my shop.

I finished up those birdhouses...no big deal, just added some paint for color. These are not for decorative purposes anyway, they will be used by the House Wrens and hummimgbirds.

I made these very cute baby slippers for my granddaughter Celeste. These are not easy to make...but I think they turned out nice.

Ya know it is just one of those day's when my joy is hard to find. I am surrounded by family and glad to be here with my mom on Mother's Day weekend. But there is a sense of yearning in my heart for the presence of strayed loved ones. So much disarray going on in my life that at times it becomes hard to focus. But through past experiences I have learned to turn my focus on whats important and trust in Gods word. He says "all things work together for the good." At this moment I may not feel like anything good can come out of ugly stuff but I will keep my eyes on Jesus and have faith in what He says.....it's all I have right now and He has never failed me in the past and promises never to leave me. Feeling lonely in a crowd of people, but finding hope in His word.
