Living By Grace One Day At A Time

The past few days have been a little ugly and what I mean by that is I have been sick with a stomach virus with a lot of vomiting and pain. I finally ended up in the emergency room yesterday morning for dehydration. It took 4 bags to hydrate me. Feeling a little better today. Hopefully tomorrow I will be fine to go down to Bishop to the swapmeet and than grocery shopping. I love swapmeets! Buying other peoples junk is so much fun.
So I finally was able to take pictures of some items that I need to list into my shop. Now I just have to list them, which is very time consuming. Hopefully next week I will be able to get that done. Worked on some bird houses to put into my gardens...like I need more! I got them spray painted now I just have to sand them down a little bit to give them that rustic look and add a few embellishments. I will post a picture when I am done with them. The House Wrens really love to use these little houses. Still working on some more market bags. My husband suggested I make some slightly bigger and crossbody style. I thought this was great idea. Making one in red, white, and blue for 4th of July. Great for an outing or bar b que! I have been posting some great recipes on my facebook page so please check it out. Facebook Page Link Also don't forget that mother's day is May 10 and it is not to late to place an order in my shop. I have some great gifts at affordable prices. Check out my shop. Shop Link Oh and I found this lovely yarn at a cute quilting shop in town...can't wait to make something with it.

My Nutrisystem this week went by the wayside being sick and all. But I have lost a total of 13 pounds and very happy with that. Last week I worked out a few times and hit the weights. I also tried a balancing act on rollerblades!

My illness has kept me in bed and I have been watching many NetflIx movies on my tablet. But I have also had much time to think and ponder on my thoughts. Have you ever been through an experience where you know you have done the right thing to help someone, but in there eyes you have done them wrong, so in return they just throw you aside like a piece of trash? Very hurtful isn't it? There are gonna be times when we see a loved one that is heading in a direction that will be distructive to themselves and to others. In these times we must not have judgment on them but decernment, and wisdom to know when and if we must interceed. And a time may come when you are called to put your foot down and say "enough is enough." I believe it takes a person with great love to do this. It's there love for the other person that gives them the courage to do what needs to be done. And it's that same love that is willing to suffer the consequences of there good intentions for this loved one, knowing that in there eyes they will be hated upon and thrown aside. We must pray and pray hard, trust in the Lord with faith and patience. Live each day one day at a time, trusting that by His grace we will survive, and that our loved ones will turn from there hurtful ways.
I will end this blog with a beautiful photo, shot by me, just for a bit of peace.
