Oh My Soul

Many days have passed and many blessings and trials since my last post. My Nutrisystem diet is going very well. My last weigh in was last Wednesday and the scale was showing I had lost 10.4 pounds so far. Next weigh in is tomorrw. So excited!
I haven'nt done much work for the shop however I did get a few things made to list. Finally got that kaftan finished and I also made a market bag. Gonna make a few market bags in different colors. The first one I made which was purple I kept for myself. I really like these bags, good for all sorts of things. Next week hopefully I can get busy with taking some pictures of some little items I found on Ebay to re-sell.

This is one of the market bags that will soon be listed into my shop. Pretty cute!
So your probably wondering why I haven't been working much. First of all when springtime comes around there is always a lot of work to be done outside. Yard clean up from winter, getting the flower gardens seeded, turning on the sprinklers and making sure they are all working correctly. We had to repair a broken pipe this time. Had to put out all the patio furniture and yard decor as well. We are having company for the weekend so I had to get the barbque all cleaned up. It is opening season  for fishing this weekend so we will be busy. Anyway this is all a blessing! On April 10th I went to visit family and on my drive down I received a call from my mothers caregiver that my mom had just been taken to the hospital. She passed out from receiving to much and to strong of chemo medication. She was in the hospital for 3 days. She is better now and she was well enough to go to an Angels game last night! In this picture she is pointing to a brick with her name in it. It is so good to see her happy. She had been waiting for this days for months.

I also got to spend time with my daughter and granddaughter which is always a blessing. My little Celeste is getting so big already. She is 4 months old now. Me and my oldest son Daniel along with Miranda, Celeste and my nephew Michael met up In Temecula for lunch. I don't see my son much so that was a really good day.

Oh and I got my hair trimmed and straightened....what do you think? I went out and bought a hair straightener, don't know if I will ever use it though!

So all these blessings and many more not mentioned and even though I am thankful my soul feels like it is afloat a lonely sea. My heart is in anguish and filled with sorrow. I have once again been forsaken by a loved one. No story to tell, no words to describe, just endless tears and waves of emotions that are uncontrollable. My God has prepared me for this time in teaching me and strengthening me through past trials. The dark has tried to seep in but I will stay stregnthened by my Lord. My eyes have seen horrible acts, my ears have heard verbal attacks and lies, my hands, my mind and mouth became unclean.....oh my soul. Faith is what I need, faith that God will heal and restore.

Mathew 5:4
Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
